Helen Tadiello is the Founding Manager and Principal Interior Designer of Sugar Designs and has a broad range of Industry skills specialising in boutique designing for commercial, retail & hospitality interior design, residential interior design & interior architecture (including 3D computer visuals) developed over 18 years. A multi- awarding winning interior designer with a proven track record for supplying clients with an outstanding service and product that they will enjoy for years to come, as demonstrated through the numerous awards that have been received for her designs and was recently awarded the 2012 National Bathroom Design of the Year Award from the Housing Industry Association.

Helen is highly committed to her clientele and their needs, and ensures that her high level of attention to detail executes a successful project on time and in budget with all projects that she has been involved with. Helen undertakes an active role in a number of significant industry associations on a local and national level. These include the Master Builders Association and the Housing Industry Association of Australia. As a result of this she is well respected throughout the industry and the projects have been recognised and awarded plaques and certificates over the years.

Helen’s invaluable broad industry knowledge, professionalism, communication skills and impressive design vision allow her to direct, manage and supervise small to larger projects and project teams to deliver exceptional design products.

Sugar Designs portfolio is extensive and multidisciplinary with an extensive background in all facets of residential and commercial interior architecture. Helen has comprehensive knowledge and understanding of commercial projects to include:

  • Retail outlets, clubs, restaurants, boutique cafes and including service industry fitout’s, office buildings, specialist medical facilities, dental surgeries, veterinary hospitals, community centers, childcare centers and a variety of fitout types.  
  • Helen has also been involved in mixed use developments which combine a variety of commercial developments within one building.
  • She has past experience working with organisations such as QIC, Westfield’s & Hyperdome on various projects within Canberra’s shopping centers gives us particular insights and a unique understanding of specific fitout Management guidelines, standards and requirements for their retail designs and fitouts.
  • Helen is committed to environmental   issues   and   the principles of ecologically sustainable development (ESD). We actively promote and incorporate ESD principles in our design work.
